As a proficient civil and commercial litigator who was called to the Alberta Bar in 2002, Melissa Tennison is a founding member and the President of the Alberta Collaborative Resolution Association (“ACRA”). ACRA is a pioneering organization established to promote collaborative dispute resolution in the civil and commercial law context.

An Alberta resident and University of Alberta graduate (B.Comm. and LL.B.), Melissa is excited to offer collaborative dispute resolution services in civil and commercial matters, a concept that is new to Alberta and Canada. Melissa’s depth of knowledge across a wide variety of legal areas positions her to assist clients with assessing their case and determining of collaborative dispute resolution is right for them.

Recently, Melissa has successfully completed ACRA’s Basic Collaborative Law training as well as the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of British Columbia’s 40 hr Mediation Course.
